Photography at The Wynnstay Ruthin, North Wales
One Wednesday morning I woke up and just NEEDED to shoot something creative, so I promptly emailed some local suppliers and venues. Four days later my plan was in action, there was no real theme or planned look, just an idea I had in my head that needed to go with the flow and feel. Harriet Morris (Make Up by Harriet) will listen to what I have to say about my ideas & take it all on board- whilst I organise, contact suppliers, style the images & photograph, Harriet is able to put the finishing touches to any look I have in mind. We shot our modern vintage bridal shoot at two locations, firstly being
6 bed, one ensuite & vintage dining area, lovingly run by Cat who's breakfasts are divine! This venue is perfect for any groomsmen or bridal party that need to stay in Ruthin the night before their big day or even more so 'The Suite' is the perfect honey moon suite, a mix of modern vintage.
- Our two beautiful wildflower bouquets were supplied by-
Jane a florist for more than 15 years. Each wedding individually tailored for with a bespoke friendly service.
- 2 of 3 dresses, the tea length dress and the full champagne gown were supplied by-
For more information and to keep up with Cambric Gowns follow their social media.
- The Make Up, Finishing Touches & Modelling-

We also had a local lady Rebekah Uden kindly model for us also. Thank you!
A little of the prep stage & also a few images showcasing the wildflowers and the lovely gowns I was loaned by Cambric, The Suite at The Wynnstay, Ruthin is definitely a stunning room for bridal prep.
We chose to shoot the entire part one in 'The Suite' for obvious reasons the art deco style decor fitted my vision perfectly, Harriet modelled my vintage wedding dress and Rebekah modelled the Cambric Gown Tea Dress.
I hope you enjoyed looking at them as much as I enjoyed creating them! Please take a look at the mentioned businesses. They are awesome!
Part two of this vintage bridal photography shoot shot at Ruthin Castle, will be on the blog soon!
