An Easter wedding at Plas Isaf, North Wales
Plas Isaf Country Barn & Gardens is a lovely 17th century barn situated just outside my hometown of Corwen. I have been a Plas Isaf wedding photographer in the past and I visited there again this Spring when Leah & Paul tied the knot. Leah & Paul had a beautiful relaxed ceremony in the stunning ceremony room at Plas Isaf. Shades of purple (one of my favourite colours) were the theme to the day, with hints of slate to make it a real Blaenau Ffestiniog wedding. The place Leah and Paul call home. The Easter themed wedding cake..was amaaaazing, four tiers of mixed flavour heaven with a mini egg trim to match the mini egg favours.
The flowers, venue, cake, decor and colour palette were all beautiful, but, quite rightly stealing the show was Leah. Dressed in a lace Mori Lee gown with satin pumps she was a vision. Shooting the families first look was a highlight for me and filled with so much infectious joy.
It's worth a mention that Leah's dad David (or Tali as he's fondly called by his loved ones) built the sweet cart from scratch!
It rained allll day and even thundered until after sunset but luckily Plas Isaf Country Barn & Gardens is a venue that rain or shine I can capture beautiful memories as your wedding photographer. The day was filled with laughter and happiness. Little did we know at the time how much happiness-Leah & Paul are expecting their first baby this December and I am over the moon for them!
Leah & Paul would like to thank both of their parents- The day would not have happened without them.
Huge high five to Bekah for assisting me that day, looking forward to August!
