The next preview I have in store is Kim and Sam’s pretty and rustic village hall wedding, the second wedding I was lucky enough to shoot over bank holiday weekend.
I’ve known Kim since she was around 5-6 years old, growing up she was best friends with my first younger sister (I have three).
I have many memories of performing “concerts” for Kim in my bedroom back in the day, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, Michael Jackson - I was clearly the cooler older sister after all!
Kim and Sam invited me to photograph their daughter Polly back in Spring 2016 for her first birthday, so it was really lovely to see the beautiful, sassy almost four year old she’s grown into.
Being asked to capture Kim and Sam’s big day was a real honour, I don’t go home often and it’s always lovely to see familiar faces on the day. You might remember the happy couple from their engagement shoot in Ruthin, North Wales earlier in the year, if you didn’t click here!
The wedding day was a lovely, family orientated occasion, it ran smoothly thanks to their lovely wedding planner Jenene from The Finest Detail. It started with bridal preparations at The Wild Pheasant, Llangollen, followed by a ceremony at St Mael and St Sulien’s Church in Corwen (with the most understanding Vicar i’ve met) and ending with a relaxed reception at Glyndyfrdwy Village Hall.
Enjoy the preview guys & thanks for having me,
The Team -
