Long time no blog/post/hello!

This wedding season is amazing, my busiest one to date but seriously the struggle to update social media is real.. hats off to all the other wedding photographers who keep on top of it, especially if you have children!

I’ve never been big on posting regularly but I’m also aware I need to remind you i’m here and it’s all go go go at Love Luella HQ. 2020 and 2021 is filling up nicely and i’ve still got some epic 2019 couples to come.

Anyway, no posts in a little while means lots of content to share over the coming months and winter - so rest assured you’ll be sick of me soon!

I’m kicking off my return with this stunning GIN themed wedding at the magnificent Tyn Dwr Hall. If you haven’t already noticed i’ve been there several times, with two more to go for 2019 alone.

Tyn Dwr Hall is set in Llangollen, North Wales and it’s one of the most versatile venues i’ve shot at. Rain or shine it’s a gorgeous place to get married and the food is AMAZING! (Wild Garlic that’s you) what’s really noticeable for me is how well the staff look after everyone, including us suppliers. Ceri and Alun got married on a BLAZING hot day in July and there wasn’t a time ice cold water wasn’t available for me. Little things like this go a long way when you’re in the midst of a busy wedding day so it’s always a pleasure to go back!

Ceri and Alun found me through one of their bridesmaids, who is also my friend and a fellow wedding photographer! To be asked to capture their day was lovely, I felt like I knew the family before arriving, even though we had never met.. I wasn’t disappointed when I did meet them and I had the warmest of welcomes and a really lovely day.

It was my first outdoor ceremony at Tyn Dwr Hall and it was simply stunning! Ceri looked like she had stepped right off the catwalk in her Enzoani dress, which was perfectly finished off with her Cherri Blue bouquet. (The flowers in general were a dream to photograph)

The couples twins Anni & Cêt weren’t too sure of the bubbly stranger with cameras (me) to start with, but they soon warmed up to me and were so good in their flower girl roles!

So, before I bore you here are just a few of my favourites from their Tyn Dwr Hall wedding, all supplier details below.

Speak soon (maybe ha)

Tash xx
