I was lucky enough to attend The Good Life Experience last weekend for the third year in a row. See last years here. I go to represent IGersWales and also myself of course! The festival based in Hawarden Estate Farm Shop and founded by The Gladstones and Cerys Matthews didn’t disappoint.
If anything I would say it’s getting better and better. Picture a laid back great outdoors experience, with workshops, cooking lessons, flower arranging, pumpkin carving, amazing street food, great music, yoga, the vintage fair and so much more. It’s just a lovely place to be with an even better atmosphere.
Each year i’ve attended with my family, but with Kai having a chest infection I went with my friend Adam on the Saturday and then we all went together on the Sunday with one of the boys Godparents Sian. I also popped over to the @IGersWales ticket winners George, Simon & children, who won the ticket giveaway on our hub (they are in the pictures, somewhere!)
Highlights for me this year included, making my own leather wrist band from scratch with Enstone Leather, the superb orange infused gin from Thomas Dakin Manchester the best ice cream i’ve ever had- seriously, mango and coconut it’s just epic, the food- of course, The Flint male choir, and the mighty booth photo experience, I especially loved the Oh Comely magazine tent where you were encouraged to write your own simple happy thing. See the board and other passers by’s simple thing at the very bottom. Although, it’s absolutely impossible to pick as it’s all so…good!
Here’s a little bit of what I got up to and links to some of the awesome companies at the very very bottom that I met along the way. Take a look and see what you’re missing.
I cannot wait to go back next year. Get your super early bird tickets for 15-16-17 September here.
