Ask anyone what I gravitate towards in any home style or stationery shop and they will all say "rose gold" It's my absolute favourite and i'm something of a magpie. My office is littered with rose gold potted succulents, geometric candle holders and rose gold framed prints. I'm officially obsessed...So, you can only imagine my excitement when I rocked up to Swyn and Liams big day at Tower Hill Barns.

With a modern vintage theme based on greenery, white and rose gold it was right up my street. The brides sister/Maid of Honour is a wedding graphic designer, so it's no surprise and took the lead on providing a detailed treat. The wedding screamed chic, cool and effortless styling with personal touches such as the Liverpool Liver bird for LFC super-fan Liam and Swyn's favourite animal (elephant).

The venue was perfect for their theme and vibe- Tower Hill Barns is a stunning oak barn wedding venue nestled in Trevor, a small village in between Llangollen and Wrexham, North Wales. I had wanted to shoot there from the moment it opened and cannot wait to re-visit! The weather was on our side and the duo married outside underneath the sandstone railway bridge and signed the register to the dreamy sound of Rosenblume.

Swyn discovered my work on Rock My Wedding's coveted Love Lust List- a directory of the best wedding suppliers. We hit it off immediately, our styles easily syncing. Liam and Swyn's willingness to work with me on their adventure and go with the flow and my ideas shows in the results.

The team that came together on their special day was second to none, I got to work with some amazing suppliers for the first time and also re-connect with suppliers i've met many times before- I especially loved their wedding cake which was lovingly made by Hayley of Hayley's Piped Dreams and the super stylish bouquets by Ivy, Pip and Rose.

Swyn looked gorgeous in two Catherine Deane separates and accessorised with a Charlie Brear rose gold belt. The look was finished off with a mini flower crown and she looked like a bohemian luxe dream. The bridesmaids wore white and it worked so well- there was no mistaking who the bride was and it looked fabulous on camera. The men were in individual items of attire from the likes of ASOS, Ted Baker, Next and co.

The whole day was a fun filled, family and friend focused celebration of two people in love and I am so pleased to have met them and photographed their special day.

Here are just a few of my favourites from Liam and Swyn's rose gold, modern vintage wedding at Tower Hill Barns.
